Tour Description

Only few blocks away from the pupular Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel there is Prati, one of the most interesting food districts of Rome with plenty of 100 years old eateries and the largest farmers' market of the city.

We start out food tour not far from the museums easy to reach with the Red Metro Line. Some of you might already be very hungry so we please your taste buds with some special "fritto romano", a range of Roman fried delis that include rice Supplì and Zucchini Flowers (if they are in season)

The palate feast continues to the Farmers market where you will try some traditional food such as porchetta, prosciutto, pecorino cheese but also fresh season products such as puntarelle, artichokes etc...

We will sit and eat in family-run restaurants where we will enjoy Roman pasta and meat dishes such as Saltimbocca, Fettuccine alla Ciociara, Caico e Pepe etc...

Of course no Italian dinner would be perfect without coffee and gelato! We will visit one of the best ice cream makers in town and enjoy a real espresso as well!

After you will be completely stuffed and happy we will reach Saint Peter's Square, one of Rome's most beautiful iconic places, that is even more spectucal at night.
